Safeincloud Download
In this article: Where the cloud database is located. The cloud synchronization stores your data in an encrypted and password protected file named SafeInCloud.db. This file is located in your own cloud account. SafeInCloud has no own servers and does not store your data. The location of this file depends on your cloud.
It’s not possible to open the cloud database file directly (by clicking on it), because it’s encrypted. To access your data from a computer (Windows or Mac), install a free desktop app from: https://www.safe-in-cloud.com/download
Attention: Do not move or rename SafeInCloud.db file. The app won’t be able to find your cloud database then.
Google Drive
There are two possible locations:
1) The Root Folder of Google Drive. This location was a default location in the older SafeInCloud versions.
File location: /SafeInCloud.db
Web address: https://drive.google.com
2) The own App Folder of SafeInCloud on Google Drive. You can manage it via Google Drive’s Settings > Manage Apps. The only possible operation is deleting the App Folder’s data. You cannot access the actual database file. This location is supported in the latest version of SafeInCloud. It is a recommended location, because it requires less file access permissions: only the App Folder.
Dropbox
File location: /Apps/Safe In Cloud/SafeInCloud.db
